Question

Is it worth it to buy a 502 CI Cadillac motor? What are they worth? Are they rare?

No i do not own a cadillac. My neighbor has had this eye sore in her driveway for years. After hearing about Cadillac making a 502 CI motor , I decided to wonder about her car and what it had. This car is huge!!! Ive heard people talking about how it is a good motor to soup up. I was just wondering if it was worth it to purchase the car for the motor?

In the past month or two Car Craft of Hot Rod did an article on Cadilac motors. Try and find a copy at the library, it will tell you what sizes and years are best.

Michael - Just my .02 If your building a hotrod or boat or something it might be the way to go. If your talkin 1st gen with a caddy motor you better get use to alot of remarks and the majority of them on the rude side...

Put SS or Z/28 badges on a 327/210 and go to cruz nite. You did it because you like the look but every other person that looks at your car will comment that it's not even a good clone!

What I am trying to say is be ready for the critics!

If you do go with it the bottom line is have fun!
