Default Thinking about buying a new Jeep Wrangler any info on pricing

HEy all I've been thinking about buying a new Jeep Wrangler. Now one of the Jeep/ KIA dealers has lost their Jeep Chrysler franchise. In the news paper they said they are looking at a fire sale with these units. I called the dealer tonight and a fairly loaded Jeep is $23,000. before a Jeep discount of $3,000.
He said they will deal better in person. I was thinking like $7,000 off of that $23,000. Anyone here have any ideas or info on pricing?
Thanks so much.
-Doug

Do some googling, Chrysler has a june 9th deadline that people are talking about. Maybe around that date would be the better deal.

Without knowing the model and equipment, there's no way to say. An X starts at just under $21K, and an Unlimited Rubicon starts at $32K. Lots of choices in between and on top of those prices.

This dealer I went to is going out of business June 6th. Was looking at a 2009 2 door X with the S package. MSRP was $23,949.00. Manager said he could take $2000 off the MSRP. I was like you are crazy. Then he said okay $4,000. I said call me when you can take $6,000 off. So we shall see what happens.
Thanks for all of your help.

The deals are not going to really be that great out there. But if you shop i'm sure there will be some. The big Chrysler dealers that are still in business are not going to be able to get any cars because of Chryslers 90 day shutdown so they cannot replace there invetory so any good selling cars they realy wont discount them enormously. These dealers are also buying up the invetory of the ones going out of business. Good luck.
