I own a 94 v6 camaro and am moving my small 300 suzuki GS300L down to florida from indiana and DO NOT want my parents help. My camaro came with a hitch but my father took it off saying my car didnt have the power. Could I put one on and be able to tow an small open trailor down?

I used to tow a large 3 passenger Yamaha Waverunner on a single trailer back when I had my 1993 with the 3.4 litre v-6 and 5 speed manual..
I had no problems towing it, even going up long mountain passes... |

Sure you can. Check your owner's manual for towing capacity. Towing capacity is as much a function of suspension components as it is powertrain components.
Here is a Class I hitch (1000 lb. max). You can probably stop by any auto parts store and have them look up a hitch for your car. There will not be one made specifically for your application that is sized larger than your car's towing capacity. http://www.autoanything.com/towing/7...0A2587708.aspx The Reese part number for the plug-in trailer wiring harness is R3474051. You just separate a specific tail light plug and insert the wiring harness and you've got a trailer hookup.
