Hello-
I just replaced my Master Cylinder-Brake Booster-Brake Lines-Metering Block-and Proportioning Valve-My brake pedal is stuck in the up position and wont move at all?
I attached the Clevis to the lower hole of the brake pedal, for power brakes.
I also bench bled the Master Cylinder.

Im lost
Please Help

I pulled the MC from booster and the pedal moves.
the MC rod appears to be too long? Is that possible?
what length should the rod be?

do a search on this site "master cylinder" or "brake booster" you will come up with alot of info.
check out this tread:

what exactly seals the power brake booster to the master cylinder?

Car had power brakes before-front disc and rear drum-booster and MC-no proportioning valve or metering block though

push rod was replaced with the smaller one and the brakes engage now-Thank you

How many times do I have to bleed the brakes in order for them to feel right?
I have to push hard on the brake pedal-before it was effortless, just doesnt feel right.

any ideas?
