Default Blacked out 67 camaro- help

Hello there!

Can anyone help me find more pics or details regarding the Completely blacked out (pro-touriong) 67 camaro with red calipers. I can not find the pic any longer and was hoping to get a closer look.

Thanks in advance.

That 67 was moving along and all of the sudden stopped in it's tracks? Not that I kept up with it but updates seemed to stop. If it's alive again post the thread here please. Gotta love a 67!!!!!!!!!

The updates are a secret. He is worried about people stealing his ideas before the car is done. Funny thing is I noticed he was offering up his LS7 for trade the other day. He ignores all requests for updates to his build thread.

Yes I noticed also. It's been a long time since I have seen something on that car. As I remeber the new build was to include some pretty nice stuff. Like everyone else I'll bet money has become an issue or it could be problems with a shop etc that is doing the work? I know I have had both issues, getting screwed by a shop and having to spend again to get things fixed. The dude does some awsome art work, he has site and i belive he posts here.

I hope that his project is top secret and that all is good, from what I saw it would be a great looking 67 and I for one would like to see more 67's done. I should have taken mine to the shop where it's at now and most of my issues would have been avoided.

Hey guys.. a bud at PT.com told me about this thread.

Yes thats my car..

the suspention is an Art Morrison C5 front clip with coilovers and a Gbar 4 link in the rear with 14 inch wilwood big brakes in front and 13 inch in the rear. 335 rear tire 18x10s and 20x12s with that current setup but it may change to all 18s. A Moser rear end with 373 gears fully loaded.

ahhaha yea i do keep many of the ideas a secret.. because many of the ideas are pretty off the wall.. and its like when a painter is painting a portrait that isnt finished. If someone who doesnt paint sees it before its done immediately judges it.. and im not ready for her to be out just yet.. im not trying to be cocky and not show because im the **** or something.. its just not finished yet.

and as far as the LS7 for trade, i was thinking wildly.. i concidered the LS9.

Nah no problems with my shop.. my work is done at Road Killer Kustoms in Cartersville GA.
David and Charlie and the rest of the boys there are some of the most stand up guys i know.. so yea.. check em out www.roadkillerkustoms.com

Even though it seems like the updates stopped the car was still moving along.
The RKK guys do a month of cure time on the final bodywork and so on.

currently it is in final prime and ready for paint.. couple of little things to finish but its pretty much ready to go..

and i took a small detour.. i bought ANOTHER 67 to put around in while Venny is getting finished... you know how it is.. when you have gone a year or so without a hotrod you want something to tide you over til its finished.. Its just a raw streetfighter with a healthy 383 stroker for my every other day driver.. ill post up pics when i get some.. you may have saw my (lock wont open) post.. thats the one.

here my build thread... and yes it hasnt been updated in a long while but it will get you pretty current...

http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/sho...ight=vengeance

so thats it!.. and yes.. 67s need more love.. thats why im building 2 of them.

thanks for the love guys.

That thing is sitting on the headers and pipes! He probably has air bags that pump up a little when he moves it.

I read somewhere that all Fesler cars get air ride suspension.

Venom67 - I am interested on how you did your side exhaust exhaust.

I am building a 67 camaro also, and was going to try the Dr. Gas 3.5" Nascar split exit X-over pipe hopefully it will work.

you might not like how we did it..

we cut up into the rear floor and boxed then through the rockers.. we used speedtech mufflers and custom bent the others.

That is the way io have seen it done before. If someone wants a side exit exhaust with out the major fabrication look into spintech mufflers and oval tubing they sell. It's about as close to looking right as I have seen, It aint cheap but it does look good. The other route I saw on a Chevelle was DR Gas boom tubes. Basicly ovaltubing to oval mufflers that are simply NASCAR style mufflers. Again not cheap but it looked good. Everything else just hangs to low where it comes out and the round tubes look funny coming under the car and coming back up to an oval tip. The other way is just round exhaust out with muffs under the car or Trans AM style. I like this method best but the mufflers i have seen work with this and have room to the work under that car are glass packs. I personally dislike very much the sound of glass packs.
After looking all over I am going turn downs before the rear axel, pointed direcly at the ground......but I like it loud!!!
