Default Look what galloped up to my all F body stable today

Well, what can I say I have close friends with f**ds. Poor thing is in need of panel replacement. And the owner is a mechanic. Things have been slow and I couldn't say no. Sure hate to slow down on the bird but....

Hope this thing takes rejection well. All the GM muscle in here seems to be looking down on it

I see a '69 'Bird in the background. You had better put a barrier between the two of them, otherwise the pony might be dead in the morning.

The one that really has to be P Oed is the 68 ss/rs shell thats spending a little time outside.

Nashcar, you know what they say about polishing a **** .......

Doug, uuuuhhhh I guess I'm not a very good friend ...I did the paint and body on his 40 F**d too. That makes me an enabler. Man , its time for an intervention.

I have room for the 68 SS/RS in my shop. They all need a good bath but once or twice a year should be good enough. You should pull the Camaro inside and let the pony stay in the barn.

I've seen some of the cars you have listed in the past. Believe me this car doesnt meet your standards. Its a border line basket case needs all pans and both qtrs and outer wheel houses. But I just can't give up on it. Kind of like the bird was going to be parted out for about 2 weeks. Then it wound up on the rotisserie.

Its been awhile since progress has been shown on project Rustang. The more we dug in the worse it got. So here are some pics. Maybe some of the chevy guys will enjoy seeing a f**d going under the knife. This car is only intended to be a weekend toy ...not a show car and the owner has budgeted it as such. We are using parts that have been collected over the last 20yrs and some new parts with a much better fit. Even the outside rockers came off a 6 cyl coupe he had.

Progress is slow , next is the passenger inner and outer rockers and rear floor pan.

Man I need to get this one done, there are three camaros and a firebird that are waiting !

Making a little more progress.

The floors are finished , inner and outer wheel houses are finished. The inner and outer rockers are also done. Inside the trunk and passenger compartment are seam sealed and painted .

Now working on stripping the dash and preparing the windshield channel.

What a detour. Need to finish this thing soon. Then the Bird and back to my first love CAMAROS !
