Default Vinyl Top

Had my top installed this morning. The shop that did it said that any left over wrinkles in the top will come out on their own. I am very happy with the job he did, I just want to make sure these wrinkles in the vinyl from it being folder in a box for who nows how long will work themselves out. He also said that the top will shrink some which will tighten it more.

I will post some pictures of the car with the top installed tonight.

I would reckon that would be the case, the heat/cold cycles of leaving it outside in the hot summer days should soften/shrink her up some.

Some pics of the vinyl top installed. Two of the pics show some wrinkles the shop says will come out. What do you guys think?

I put a vinyl roof on a 70 Challenger myself a couple of year ago. First time i tried it but came out nice but also had some small wrinkles. They disapeared after some time. Like 68islTeal said do the sun soften the vinyl up.

My vinyl guru put the huge piece of vinyl out in the sun to warm before he installed it. I never had a wrinkle at all. I agree that some time in the sun will help but by then the glue under it is also dried. It may appear again down the road but hard to tell. They can always inject glue with a syringe to help flatten it down if needed.
