[Mr. Super Sport]

Hey guys I'm a little late publishing this. After three years of getting my Camaro all straightened out from the previous butcher who said it was restored I finally got some satisfaction. On June 13th Myself and my buddy Tom took our Camaros over to Lebanon TN for the AACA ( Antique Automobile Club of America) Spring National meet.

Tom has the real nice 1967 Camaro Pace Car also getting a first place. Cars are judged on a 400 point deduction system. You must be within 10 points of the highest scoring car in your class to get a first. 12 first gens in our class. All really nice cars. So any how thanks guys for all of your help on questions that I had no clue about.

Doug, I am also a member of the AACA and have shown cars and trucks and have won up to a repeat preservation award. It is very rewarding. But just this year I decided that I would start driving these cars and trucks. Heck, after spending 6 months to several years on the restoration process for each vehicle it was nice to put the family in them and show them why the time and money was spent. Hopefully you progress through all the awards and then drive it. It sure is fun.

Hey Jim, I'm already driving the Camaro and enjoying it. I may go for my senior award in a year or so. Right now driving and enjoying a like new '69 Camaro SS.

That is awesome. Most of the judges are understanding if you have some road dust and alot of them take that it is driven into consideration when deducting points.
