I had an extra set of 68 bumper guards laying around and desided to put them on the my wife's car. Both my 69 Z/28 and 68 SS/RS have them front & rear, so this car was the odd ball, or I should was the odd ball.
![]() Anyhow, what do you all think? yes or no on the guards? without ![]() with ![]()

The car looks great with or without. If you have rears on to...that is fine, if no rears, don't put on the fronts.

I'll say go without. they look really big on there; they look like aftermarket. more of a "retro" look without them.

Great looking cars! I like them on the rear, but not so much on the front myself. On a 69 I'd prefer the endura on the front and guards on back. I followed a black 69 SS through town today for a couple miles. Beautiful car, but I kept thinking how much better it would've looked IMO if it had rear guards instead of the standard bumperettes. To each his own.

Thanks guys, I think I will run them for a while. Same guards on both my other cars and I always kind of liked them,
you don't see them much around here.![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks Again,

Personally I think the car looks cleaner without them. Maybe it's the angle of the picture, but they look huge. The ones on your cars don't look bad. are you saying they are all the same size?

Keep them! They look great on an original appearing car, maybe not so good on something like a Pro-Touring style.
