Default 69Z Burnished Brown

A gentleman contacted me today, and expressed an interest in selling his Z. It's an August 69 X33D80 car. Burnished brown, std front, blk std interior. BU 12 bolt is original, and most sheetmetal replaced, however still needs a floor pan. Car is a center fuel gauge car,and also had a console, but no gauges. Has the correct disc brake setup, non power steering, and the correct fast ratio Z box. Also has a non-matching Muncie. I do not have any pics yet, but based on no engine, but a real Z in a rare color, what do you guys think? I think it'd be neat to bring back a BB car,but I've got enough projects to keep me busy for now.

Sounds like a neat car. I wish I would have purchased the BB RS Z Barn find back a few years ago. That one was a great find. If your like me, its hard to turn them down. Gives us a few shots when available.

People either love or hate Burnished Brown. I think I could like one with fresh paint, but when the paint is old they look rough. How do you keep popping up with these nice finds?

LOL... The fella just called me this morning. Car would need the engine and all parts for it,which I know adds up quickly, but still, I kinda dig Burnished brown with white stripes. It'd look killer with white interior and /or white vinyl top imo.

Even so...WIW? Basically a project Z.

When I was looking for a Z back in the late 80s early 90s there was one for sale locally in Niagara Falls Ontario. The car was listed in a bad postion in the auto trader and he never got any replies. Bob at Camaro Specialties in East Aurora NY, had sold the guy a lot of parts so he bought the car from him. I was there buying some parts for mine and saw it. It was BB with white Stripes and Ivory interior. I looked really nice. I think Bob sold it to one of the Buffalo Sabres hockey players. The BB and mine were for sale in the same issue of the Auto trader. It was a turn key car, for a very reasonable price. One that got away!
