Default U46 option

Question could you have the U46 on a Rally Sport Camaro? I have only seen 2 Camaros with this option and they were not RS Camaros.

Yes you could. It's a very rare option anyway, so you don't see many around.

Yes, you could get it on any 69. Even more rare is the convert setup, with the cobrahead rear display.

So they had standard parking lights, U46 parking lights, RS parking lights and U46 RS parking lights. Wow that is a lot of different assemblies for one model car. That is for the front only the rear had two different sets one regular and one RS. Is that correct? Were the head light buckets for the RS the same for the U46 or were they different? I have a 1968 standard coupe with the U46 and I found so many different parts compared with my 1968 SS/BB. Just my observations and I could be all wrong.

Parking lights used Maybe two part numbers. Standard and U46 "buckets" look the same except for the hole the fiberoptic goes in for the U46 on a 69. You could take a standard bucket and drill the hole. The rest of the parking light is the same for standard, RS and U46. The U46 didn't change the headlight bucket either, the fiber optic goes in the center of the H/L connector and lines up with the clear projection on the back of the bulb.
