Default Roller Rockers

I am planning to swap the top end on my sb302, new heads, intake and hyd. roller cam. Any opinions on a brand of roller rockers? Any horror stories? I currently have Cranes since about 88 with no problems but with their demise (not my rockers) what is next?

Comp Cams Magnum roller rockers are reasonable if you aren't running too much lift / spring pressure.

Harland Sharp or Comp Cams ,either of which would be great choices,IMO. I'm currently using Comp Cams rockers on my BBC.

Thanks, I was looking at Comp Cams for the cam anyway. The only variable I am missing is the deck height to choose the cam so I am amassing parts.

For a few dollars more , there is the Comp ProMagnum. While you are at it, might check the rocker arm geometry.

Yes I plan to check the geometry. Likely will need different pushrods with the new heads.

beehive springs will give you more clearance to use the magnum roller rockers from Comp Cams - they work well on most of the hydraulic roller cams too.

im a big fan of crane. i have golds in one car and silver in another. the golds are more expensive and supposedly superior but the silvers have alot more clearance underneath on the stud.
