I thought a bit about putting this up here, but heck, you all have been my friends for a decade, so why not. This is a real "feel good" for me.

In the just over a month we've been online, my new website has had ten thousand visitors!
Over 200 members, and four thousand posts!

Between watching over the site, ironing out various settings in the software, working on the new software (we hope to bring the new software online next weekend) and answering pm's and emails, it's a wonder I have time to eat.

I do try hard to find time to spend an hour a day here at Team Camaro, my internet home of the past decade.

Threads: 165,426, Posts: 1,351,306, Members: 44,926,

You should be close to that by 2020.

Where do you take the vistor numbers from?
Does that include seach bots and spam bots?
Incude scrpit kiddies check the access.logs requests that have =http//

Even on kakariki.net (which is about to roll over 5 mil individual hits since 2004) each day search engines , script kiddies and spam bots account for 2000 to 2500 hits per day.
(these are not included in the site hits stats)

Im suprised you did not go for a portal like php nuke (ravens phpnuke) which includes phpbb2 and can adds mod like gallery.
As a site expands /matures other functions become nessacery...I found out the hard way, and several other sites (car clubs etc) have to...
I gave this bit of advice to http://jowett.org/ and now they are looking at doing the conversion...which if they do is going to be a huge mission
