i have a 68 with a standard rear seat. i am going to use the 4th gen fronts with the hounds tooth covers. they have the 69 houndstooth layout in them.
id like to use the 69 rear houndstooth seat cover to match. will it work on my 68 standard rear seat? |

Bucknaked I do not think this will work for you as a straight swap if that is what you are thinking of doing.
The rear seats are different widths from standard to deluxe and i think you will need to make alterations to the new Houndstooth cover to fit it to the rear seat. I have covers here for comparison of you get stuck. Good luck! |

68 standard and 68 deluxe are the same width, as long as not a convertible or fold down rear seat ( no rear arm rests w/ ashtrays )
convertibles or fold down rear seats are narrower a '69 houndstooth rear seat cover should fit a 68 std rear seat frame, as long as the 69 seat cover is not for a car with rear arm rests ( convertible or fold down ) |
