Default Converting to a deluxe interior

I really like the deluxe interior and I want houndstooth seats, but I find there's a lot more to converting than just new door panels and woodgrain. is everything needed reproduced or are there door parts and such that will be hard to find? I already know it would be expensive but since I need to restore my interior anyway the cost would be easier to accept as long as I don't run into road blocks.

Sorry, 1969. I should add I'm struggling a little bit with how smart it is to do this as well since the car is a numbers matching true RS/SS. probably not the greatest idea but everyone would rather have the deluxe interior, I like to think I'm correcting the mistakes some ding bat made when he ordred it.

Dean, pretty sure all the parts are reproed, you need to change the inside door opener mech and window regulator, besides what you have said. I have a spare set of black houndstooth covers I wont be using with fold down rear if you want to PM me. .

My car is daytona Yellow and I was thinking about yellow houndstooth but after realizing that it would run about 1k more I decided leave it standard black. better not deviate from my trim tag

I scrapped out the cheap vinyl in both my 67 and 68 pieces and installed leather from 'Al Knoch Interiors'....cant beat it and its 'exactly like the OE vinyl as you can see....it turns a Camaro into a class act and they do it all....

I had the same idea when I gutted my 69 interior. I put deluxe seats in and kept the rest the std interior. It came out really nice.
