'Evening all. Is this Devilbiss paint gun kit (currently on sale at Eastwood) any good? Lowe's also has a 1000cc Kobalt gun for sale at around $90, but I figure the two guns plus regulator would be a better deal...?

i bought same set last year for 99.00 they are decent for a good paint job at home.i shot base on my 69 with the big one looked great but i shot the clear on with my sata 2000.its hard to beat a sata.i like the way the sata lays the clear down, but they are expensive.i just don't like shooting base & clear threw same gun.would like to have another sata but cost to much for me i only shoot 1-2 cars a year.i think you would be happy with them.every body has a certain gun preference mine happens to be a sata.my other buddies swear by sharp & binks.so what i like you may think they are junk.

Thanks for the info. I just realized these require 13cfm at 30psi... I have a 200 PSI DeWalt 5cfm 5 gallon compressor. Is my little compressor going to be able to keep up with this gun (200 PSI at the tank through a 30 psi regulator will give me some extra room, but is it enough?)
