how do i find out my member number for my ground-up discount??

i need to order a bunch of parts for this 67 drop/top.. i thought i would give them a shot but i need my member number to get a discount any help would be great!! thanks guys!

Just curious... why are the member numbers such a secret?

I would think it would be included in the info on the User (member) List.

It would kill the sponsor discount system for the sponsors that use one. Sponsors like Ground Up require a member number for you to get a discount. If the numbers were public then anyone could use your discount and the sponsor would quit offering the discount.

Note: I'll have to get with Jim because I don't know where he got that member number he handed out. They have not been privy to the moderators or myself for a couple years.

fwiw ground up has never asked me for my member number. The discount is also 10% which is the same discount you get if you order online and they don't combine them.

I've never been able to get GU to honor the discount using my member number.

NM I read that wrong. I don't use ground up anymore after they refused to make good on an order they screwed up. I was speaking of D&R. Ground Up (when I used to use them) used to say "you're a paid member" and I said yes and they'd discount it.

When I inquired about my membership number this is the response that I was given:

"Hi Dave! Thank you for your ongoing support on the community! Regarding you membership number we are still sorting it out and generating new numbers since the old owner unfortunately did not leave a list behind of the numbers he made up."

I guess that they have the number issue resolved?
