Picked up a kit and started messing with an old 3310. The short yellow spring just appaers to be clipped is this the way it comes from Holley. Anyways the lightest spring works fine as I thought it would since I can run DP on my car but the 3310 definately has more bottom end grunt where the dp really shines up top.( kicks the 3310)
Does anyone have the spring kit and is that the way the short yellow comes? It says not to clip the springs in the instructions. Thanks in advance.

Yes, yellow spring is made this way. Reason to not clip the spring is it makes it stronger/stiffer.
