What is a 68 camaro 12 bolt axle worth? The axle is complete minus carrier and ring and pinion. It is in very good condition with only minor pitting on the the center section. Thanks

Housing and axles(with axles not worn) 700 to 900. Could be more if it's coded for 355 to 410 gears with posi.

What are the codes on the passenger side axle tube? That would be a big factor on price like Lee said. Post the code when you have time.
Go here for more information. http://www.camaros.org/drivetrain.shtml#axle If everything else is good, the price mentioned above is a good starting point. I would say less for a 2.56 or 2.73 ratio. More for a 3.73 or 4.56 ratio.

good 12 bolt rear ends can go for 2k to 2500 easy where im at, any camaro lover will take 2k at least off of the sale of a 1st generation camaro that doesnt have a 12 bolt rear end in her....
