Yes, Ansen made them. For strip use, you are supposed to put big bolts in the rear holes to lock them. If you do, your spring perches will eventually rip off, mine did on my 67 which as in the photo, don't use U bolts. First you see an oil leak where the perch is welded on, then it rips off.

Those are heavy bars!!!

Haven't seen those in ages! Yes, very heavy!

As David suggests, they do rip off the spring perch. As a deterent, kindda, weld in plates from the top of the spring perch to the axle tube to triangulate the perch.

If you run them on the street without the bolts in the rear holes are they alright. Can you add U bolt to these? What color were they originally?
