Default V6 engine replacement

I found a 1999 v6 car with a blown engine. I was wondering how many shop hours the book says it takes to replace it. I'm asking so I can figure the dollar amount the car is devalued. I know a rebuilt replacment motor will run about $1800. Anyone know what the labor hours involved are?
