guys i know this topic is exhausted, i did a search and did not find exactly what i was looking for.
what is the measurement from the front floorpan seam to the front console mounting bracket holes? after i get that measurement the rest will be located easily by setting the console down. second question, how do i install the riv-nuts as shown in the pic below? do i drill the hole a tad smaller and tap them in with a hammer? or do they go in from the bottom up?

They go from the top. then need to be pulled to bulge out like a pop rivet . Ricks has a tool look at it you can probably make something . This drawing should work lay it out and double check everything . if you cant read it let me know .

thanks mark. so just set them in the floor and feed a small threaded rod thru them and install aplate on the underside and turn so that it crushes a little? that sounds easy enough to make. as far as the measurements is 4.180" equivalent to 4-1/8"? i know .250" is 1/4

4.18 is 4 3/16 http://www.rickscamaros.com/spread-n...-tool-set.html I think the way this one works is put the hex nut on the bolt then the 2 washers then your nut , hold the allen wrench still turn the hex nut to draw yours up until it swells up underneath .
I made the drawing in 2 parts so you can read it easier

awesome!! thank you so much for the diagrams and help!! they should make a sticky for consoles and add these measurements since i kno alot of people look for them
