Default Decal location photos

Hey guys. My car is a mutt. It was an original 68 RS convertible with a new used motor so basically it could be anything. The PO started to do some SS stuff like replacing gauges and put SS on the grill and SS cap on the tank. I would like some badges on the car but its a matter of what and where.

1. I assume there is such a thing as a 68 SS RS?
2. If so, did it have any Rally Sport Emblems?

I have:

Two "SS" fender badges
Two, of the standard script "camaro" for front and rear
Two, "RallySport" badges.
The nose "RS" center grill badge.
The nose "SS" center grill badge.
Two 327 badges.

My car has the hideaway doors. Not sure if this is relevant. I prefer not to badge it like something that never existed.

Thanks guys any ideas photos appreciated.

I'd just put on the original emblems.. My 68 RS has a 350 as well, but was originally a 327. I just have the 327 emblems on the nose, rallysport emblems on the side and on on the grille. I had a RS gascap, which looks really cool, but it kept falling out for some unapparent reason. So I just put a locking bowtie cap. But the RS cap is way more nice for sure.

What engine is it running? Keep it a sleeper, man

The engine is a modified L92. I like the sleeper idea.

SS pkg/emblems supersede RS pkg/emblems.
If the car originally came with only RS pkg, then RS emblems are installed.
If car has RS pkg and SS pkg, then SS emblems are installed.

Never intimidate, but carry a big stick, and thump those who do.
I like the sleeper idea.
