Hi guys,
About to put in my Muncie trans crossmember, but I can't recall which way it came out. I notice that it looks pretty symmetrical, like it would go in either way, except that there are two small holes, close together along one edge of the crossmember, and a single hole along the opposite edge. I don't recall what purpose they served or what might have bolted up there. Can anyone help me so I get it in the correct way the first time? Thanks. RJ |

On my bb it is single hole to the front. I'm sure others will chime in on the original function of the holes.

On an OEM crossmember, the three holes go to the drvr side.
