Seems to be what some are using with Caltracks and having good results.

Plus will lower the rear a fuzz or two.

I agree they look cool but I'm having a hard time figuring out how they mount. Bolt to the bottom of the frame rail? Weld?

They do bolt in but are suggested to be welded.

I figured a nice piece of 2.5" x 3" x 1/8 wall tube ??? having one side sliced out, slipped over the frame rail and plug welded in then the slider welded to that would make a good foundation ?

Some of the guys that I know have installed them. They take a piece of square tubing and weld it across the rear frame rails. They cut the trunk floor out and mount the square tubing on top of the frame rail which helps lower the rear of the car. Plus you can move the leaf spring in to give you some tire clearance. With the metal going all the way across the trunk floor you can weld the sliders anywhere you want for tire clearance.

Just adjust the square tubing to the frame rails and adjust your ride height.

He had them on a 10.5 car and they worked good.
