My drivers door latch on my 68 slips once in a while. When puched it will not open the door and you have to open it from the inside. I have heard there is a fix where you add a bit of weld to the latch. Anyone know how to do this?

I think you are missing the door latch return spring...

I replaced mine in the door - Not fun but can be done.

Not sure that mine is the spring since it usually works just once in a while it will go in and spring back out but will not actuate the lock.

I would look to see if you have the spring just in case.
