My 68 SS396 is almost ready for paint (lemans blue) and I can't decide which stripes to put on the car. I like the look of the black SS stripes, but read that they are not correct for my color if not equipped with vinyl top.

Also, anyone know which color of black to use for the tail pan? Gloss, semi-gloss, or flat.

Last question: Anybody have a preference on restoration companies? I have been buying everything from Rick's Camaros, but service hasn't been as good since Ekeler's bought them. How good are Year One, Classic Industries, and Ground Up?

Colin, Go to the Camaro Research Group web site. You will find vitually all
correct original color combo's there. They are crazy for "original" on that
web site. Excellent info there.
