OK Does anyone here know how to get the speedometer needle off of the speedometer from an 86 Z28 Camaro without breaking it??? Ive got the head out of the cluster but I can't get the needle off!!

The speedometer needle is staked on and requires some force to pull it off, make sure you pull straight. Also make sure you mark where the needle was so the speedo is not inaccurate after reinstalling. This can be done best on the back side at the stepper motor.
