Default rearend oil out of breather

I have an after market ford 9" rear in my car. Took the car on a 50 mile ride today longest since its been on the road and the is oil coming out of the breather that is on top the rearend. When I filled it i filled to the plug hole. Is just maybe over full and the pressure built up from the heat from the ride. Should I be concerned or drive it until the oil stops coming out.

Could be that you just put the wrong lubricant in the rear and it is foaming , forcing some to come out. Quaker State products have been known to foam. What does the leaking lubricant look like?

Is the breather in line with the ring gear ? (or close to)

Heard this problem before with a certain rear builder.
Could be as easy as raising the vent for a easy fix.

i filled it with Lucas 80/90 gear lube and the addititve that the mfg sent with the rear end. The breather is off to one side of center in the axle housing area.

The breather is ....
just a vent ?
screw in cap with breather ?

You could use a hose (braided looks good) to raise it up to the body with enough slack that the suspension doesn't rip it out ?
