AFTER THE TPI 350 ON MY CAMARO OVERHEATED I REPAIRED THE RADIATOR AND INSTALLED A NEW THERMOSTAT AND NEW HOSES. THE CAR RUNS FINE AND THE FANS WORK BUT NOW THE WATERPUMP IS LEAKING OUT OF WHAT LOOKS LIKE A FACTORY HOLE JUST ABOVE THE LOWER WATER OUTLET NECK. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HOLE IS FOR-ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Hi,
The hole is there to let you know that the seals are starting to leak. They may have been damaged by the overheating problem. Changing the pump is the cure.
