Default FlatBlack Performance

Hi!

I'll start writing a bit about my project, it's a Camaro -69 SS/RS that I have owned since I was 18 (now 25).

There is too much to write about what I have done over the years but here are some pictures and a list of some of the things I've done / are doing this year.
Rear suspension / chassis:
3-link (home-built)
Coilovers (Koni double adjustable with Eibach springs)
Watts (home built)
Rear brakes (Wilwood four-piston calipers and discs)
Subframe connectors (Hotchkis)

Front Suspension:
Disc brakes front (C6 Z06 six-piston calipers 14" discs)
Spindle (ATS AFX)
Upper A-arm (Speed Tech)
Shock absorber (Koni)

Steering:
Box (ATS, Lee 670 12.7:1)
Pump (Lee TC with cooling)

Rims / Tires:
Front
CCW SP510 18" * 8.5"
Toyo R888 245 18"
Rear
CCW SP510 18" * 11"
Toyo R888 315 18"

Interior:
Split rear seat from a -71 Camaro
3-point seat belt for child seat (highest priority I got a daughter 5 months ago)

Exhaust system:
Finally welded, was made in 2009 with homemade x-pipe and Borla dampers.

Lower coilover mount (Chassisworks)

Koni double adjustable coilovers

Propeller for Watts link (Jim @ Fays2)

Some pictures of the rear inner fenders that will be widened a bit to make room for 315 tires.

The exhaust system

Tested with my sister's 315 tires from her Mustang, seems to fit OK.

Upper front mount for the 3-link

Testing to mount rear suspension

Hard to keep order in such a crowded garage, but it works! (Changes the air suspension system on my dads Cadillac dad too )

Yeh, you're right about that! Probably in the 1000h range by now from September last year when I started this build (My plan was to be ready before my daughter arrived 5 months ago )

Thanks! Yeah I think those wheels will be great on the car, I have never seen a -69 Camaro with the CCW SP510:s before, usually it is the Classic:s.

haha, I'm flattered!
It was quite a while ago I posted those pictures, after my changes now the only thing that will look different from before are the wheels. I hope they will do as good as the TT2:s
My friend did the paint job for me in his garage, yes in Sweden, (second car he paints) so all I paid was a 100 bucks for the paint from the local paint shop ..
But the paint is pretty worn now, probably will re-paint it again in a couple of years, of course flat black
I will look if I can find some videos to put on youtube.

Hmmm... This car looks strikingly similar to the one that's been my background for months and a huge inspiration to my build... Same color, wheels (well, your old ones), even has a euro plate (not sure if it's a Swedish one). The one on my background has 396 badges though so i'm guessing it's not yours haha.

In any case, I don't think i've ever seen anything meaner than a flat black 69'. Keep it up man!

Thanks Ryan! I had 396 badges a couple of years ago when my old 396 was in the car, but when I switched to a 383 and found badges for that I could not resist to buy those. Little bit misleading with 396 badges on a 383 powered one (many who commented it).
But if you mean the car on the photos bellow, it's my -69
