Default Super Chevy Show Denver

I've just returned from a 2 month trip to the US with my wife.
We had a great time. We got around to California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, New York City, Colorado and a tiny bit of Utah.
While we were in Denver we got to the Super Chevy show so I thought I'd share some pix.
Unfortunately we don't have much drag racing at home so it was good to get to see some racing. Woohoo!

Here's the wife in a new SS Camaro, she also tried the convertible for size

really nice '56, and had an LS2

You've gotta get a shot of a 57 at a Chevy show

...more pix

The real deal. This is a ZL1. I've never seena real one before.
Had a long talk with the owner. Poor guy, he only has 10 Camaros, 1 pro-tourer 55 Nomad (that was also at the show) a 32 Ford with LS1 and a 5,000 square foot garage

Survivor Z28.
I really liked this thing as although the paint was rooted you knew exactly what this car was about (no hidden rust under shiny paint etc)

Woohoo, more drag racing

I'd forgotten how much I like drag racing, so there are a few pix of the racing

Twins

I thought the dragsters were loud but these jet powered units.....

BTW, if you are intersted in some other pix from my trip I have a bit of a summary here (plenty of car pix)
