Default Where to start with my 76 camaro

Hello everyone i am kind of new to this and have a couple questions to ask all of you restoration buffs and camaro buffs.
I just bought a 76 camaro rs. the guy i bought it from already had the motor rebuilt but failed to do anything else to the car.
my first question is:
Where do i find out all the facts on my camaro? such as where it was built, and other facts like that.
second where should i start to get this project rolling?
I just got on this site so give me a couple days to get some pictures up of my car.

Welcome to the site! You picked a cool-looking year Camaro to restore. I used to own a 75 LT a few years ago and miss it today... Check out the pic... I owned a "BumbleBee" BEFORE Transformers came out... ha!

Here's a great site for 2nd gen Camaros:

http://www.nastyz28.com/

You will find lots of info here to that will apply, but may not be specific to your year...

Trim tag on the firewall has all that info. It's in code but you'll have fun decoding once you get familiar with the options.

What trans?

Get it mechanically sound first, by that time you'll have decided what direction you want to go with it.
