Hey guys, I'm trying to install a Vintage Air in my 67 Camaro and wanted to do something alittle different from what the instructions mention. I want to run the wires through this hole(the one with yellow tape), but I'm not sure what it was used for originally. I looked at the original heater box and the studs don't go through this hole. The hole in the picture(marked with yellow tape) is where I want to running the wires. Does anyone know what this hole was used for? Maybe to fasten the firewall pad?
Thanks, Last edited by tonyvol; Dec 25th, 11 at 03:14 PM. |

Not sure but I have the same hole in my 68. I ran the a 4 gauge wire to the trunk via that hole. Make sure you use a rubber grommet!
