I found ONE on ebay that I believe will work but it's $40..
Any ideas of where I could find one? All of the pumps I've seen for sale that are the early saginaw style have the female outlet port in the pump. We need the male version as the stock hose is female on the pressure hose (end that goes into the power steering pump). Anyone know where I could find just the fitting for my new pump? Thank you, Donnie

NAPA
Weatherhead 1586 inverted flare to flare It's actually the late model pumps that are female port. Not many of the old cores left around....

Ty! I'll check out that fitting @ Napa..ALL of the pumps I've seen for sale (at least in the photo in the listings) have the female fitting on the pump itself for the high pressure side. I LOST my whole power steering pump somehow so having to buy a new one. Thanks again, Donnie

You bet. If they don't have it they should be able to get it in a day. $10-$15 or so.

That's a bummer, because I'm pretty sure you could have unscrewed the fitting from your old pump and used it on the new one.

. That's why I'm so bummed, trying to avoid this cheap iroc steering swap turning expensive. ![]() I'll definitely check out napa..that heartbeat one on the link is pretty pricey and it appears to be for an AN fitting on the hose end??

Wanted to edit this as I put the wrong part number earlier. It should be Weatherhead 1563.
Sorry for the confusion.

OR you can use the hose from a 74 nova it uses the female pump fitting and has the same shape as the camaro.
