Guy's, Can I ask a question. I'm doing my restoring my 69 396 SS at this time. i thought that if the car came with a rear spoiler that it did not have the camaro emblem on the deck lid? Mine has the spoiler option and the trunk lid has pop rivets in the lid where the emblem would go. So they get both. Camaro Central told me they either had one or the other? Much appreciated

Rick, if there are pop rivets, I can guarantee the factory did not put them there.

Thanks Bryon, I knew the factory did not put the rivets there. I wondered if the truck lid might have been changed at one point being the reason for the emblem holes that were plugged.

Spoiler option negates the Camaro script emblem on deck lid.

Nope. D80 moved the emblem forward about 3-1/2"; the new holes were drilled in the Body Shop, and the original holes were covered by the spoiler. Photo below is my untouched original 02D '69.
