Much is dependent on condition, parts with them and then dating - and folks need for those dates.
67 and 68 were the same for some models, so that effects pricing - and again, it falls to the date(s) as to value to someone.
I normally never pay more than $50~100 for them, but I've seen desired date sets go into the near $1K range ...

If you just want to sell them off for some quick cash, I would contact Jerry M - http://www.z28camaro.com/index.html - and have him give you a price he'd pay for them.

Otherwise put them on eBain with a starting bid in the $300~500 range - if they are matching dates and in good condition and appearance - and see what kind of action you get ...

It's a 'Julian' date system that is cast directly into the castings.
Look on them for a series of - Alpha-number-number-number.
It will look something like E 21 7 (which would be May 21st, 1967) - but I made that up ...

My car was born on 01C. So, that means the third week in January. Is there any reason GM would not have cast the date code on my exhaust manifolds? Because I don't see a alpha-#-# on my exhaust manifolds.

My 1968 manifolds have the date numbers on the back side.....the casting numbers are on the front side.

You might want to look again. Probably L 16 6. That would break down to Dec. 16, 1966.

Bump

With the date code now known, are these exhaust manifolds worth anymore?
