Nice to see it was Made in Canada. You don't see that very often these days.

Yeah that surprised me too. I wonder if anyone can tell what the stampings mean.

I've had them that were Canadian stamped, not in a circle though. Someone else posted photos of theirs which was also made in Canada.

I don't know for sure what the 866 crayon marking (could be inspector marking) but the 118 I believe is the Julian date that the part was made on in 1967..
118 67 = Friday April 28, 1967 |

wouldn't that be strange that a 68 dash pad was made when 68's weren't even in production yet and 67's were still going strong?

![]() I'm curious, is there a set price to do the dash pad....all the same no matter what condition they're in ? If so, I think you'll be getting your money's worth.

Still...for the $225 all said and done, it's better than dealing with the crappy repro's that are out there.

Businesses and others who ship large volumes often receive lower rates. I've received prepaid shipping labels from those who have them. Unless there is limited access in a particular area, cardboard for box construction can be obtained for free.

I was just looking at my 68 dash pad the other day. It has made in Canada in a circle and 521 68 (if I remember correctly). I assumed it was the production date in May 1968.
Did you leave the trim on the dash pad when you sent it to Al Knoch? |

I did actually and I meant to take it off. Whoops. I assume they'll just take it off anyway.

After reading this thread, I was curious to check my dash pad out too.
Looks like I have the same stampings too... Made in Canada and all. I can't quite make out what the chalked numbers are since they are not too clear. any ideas guys?I see the 915 67... my chalked numbers are written all the way on the opposite side of the julian white stampings. Interesting...
