I was wondering if anyone knew what types (brands) of brake calipers work with a Master Power Disc brake conversion kit (front brakes)? I did the conversion sometime between 95 and 98, I believe, (rear conversion in 2004, yet to get it running) and with this current build I am looking to change the calipers. Hopefully I can still use the brackets (i believe they are from a mid size 90's chevy). My calipers were left in a garage that had a horrible roof leak and they rusted. Besides, they are probably very inferior. I hope not to replace the entire brake system again, (although wilwood and Baer are nice), but the engine does put out 500 hp.
Thanks kc |

Hard to say. Depends on what they were using then. There are a few single piston calipers that have been used over the years in conversions I think. Best option may be to take one of yours and a bracket to the parts store and compare. Three applications that I know of that are different but can be used are:

David Pozzi's site has a list of GM models whose brakes fit 1st Gens. Click on the link below and scroll down a way to the heading "DISC BRAKES THAT WILL FIT FIRST GEN CAMAROS"
