Happy Thanksgiving! I wonder if he had a little tear in his eye the day the IRS took half? We found a bag of sugar and a case of beans in the attic of my Dad's childhood home during some insulation work that was being done. His Mother and Father apparently stashed it there for tough times during the depression. The sugar is as hard as cement ...lol. We left it up there... He ate a lot of beans as a kid (no money) and never developed a liking for them later in life. |
