Going to list a friends '67 SS/RS convertable on ebay and was hoping for some info decoding his trim tag for the listing. Thanks.

Using Camaros.org 3SL indicates RS package and 4P indicates SS package?

I believe here is the correct using CRG decoder. I can't tell for sure if the letter after the 5 is a B or not. But that is what I plugged in.

Decode for body number: 117019

05A = Built the First week of May.
67-12667 = Custom Interior Convertible.
NOR = Built in Norwood Ohio.
707 = Custom Yellow Bucket Seats.
Z = (A50) Strato Bucket Seats (without headrests).
Y-2 = Lower Color is Butternut Yellow and the Convertible Top Color is Black.
Y = Interior paint is Yellow

Does it have the original engine, transmission and rear axle?

Has the original engine 350/295hp and diff. Transmission now is Muncie M-20. I'd have to check but I don't think he has the original Powerglide. He did tell me the car was originally an automatic. Here's a link to the car. Unfortunately the yellow interior is gone and now has black interior. Don't think I've ever seen a '67 with yellow interior, I'm guessing fairly rare/odd colour?

Yep ! The yellow interior is pretty rare indeed. Usually only seen with Butternut exteriors, but seen a Trim Tag over at CRG with AA (Tux Black) and 707. There's a few threads in the Interior forum regarding 707 interiors.

Your friends car, being a Convertible RS/SS yellow on yellow would be quite desirable to some folks....
