Need a favor, will someone with a set of inner wheel house' for a 67 RS be knid enough to take a couple photos with measurements of where the hole for the headlight motor is located??
I had pics on my cell phone but the memory card has gone bad and is not recoverable. Mine were in bad shape and I bought repops which do not have the RS holes. even if you cant get measurement maybe just pics would be helpful. Thanks!

The only thing different on the RS inner wheel housings from the standard is the hole for the parking light wire. The headlight door motors are mounted in the headlight assembly which mounts to the radiator support.

hmm well mine was apart when I got it and from the location I thought it was for clearnce for the motor. I want to say from memory the hole is 1" plus in diameter, are we talking the same thing? if so do you have any pics or measurements so I can duplicate it on my new ones?
Thanks!

There should be a dimple in the fender skirt where the TURN SIGNAL hole should go.
Carefully measure your turn signal grommet or consult the AIM for the diameter of the hole (for drilling). |

Ok great I got it! thanks for the AIM tip for some reason I did not think it would be in there and I did see that before but thought it didnt show what I was looking for. Really thought it was for the bellcrank clearance on the bottom of the motor.
As always thanks for the help, this site has been invaluable in the resto and really has a great bunch of people.

Thanks for the picture but new issue. These repop inners have no dimple. Could someone measure and let me know from where they measured from.

From these pics the hole appears to be inline with the radiator support.
