what is fair market value to pay for a 69 camaro coupe, 40k one owner miles, completely original including paint and very well preserved, fathom green with green standard interior, fully documented including window sticker in the glovebox, ps, pb, a/c, 350 with auto trans on column, Z21 stripe package, factory am/fm, tilt wheel, factory rally wheels, very original car that still has its original brakes even and as mentioned car is a very clean unmolested car that has just few very minor nicks but is very nice for 43 years old and claims to have never been in any weather. Please let me know your opinion as I normally do not pay attention to survivor type cars and i realize they are getting harder to find especially one owners. thanks in advance.

I would have to see some pics, but $15K or more would not be unreasonable.

Thanks for the replies so far and I will try and get a few pictures of it but I must be off in my thinking as this car is truly a nice clean car thats original paint is still very nice, and interior, glass and chrome are in mint condition, nothing has ever been changed but its waterpump, batteries, belt and hoses and car has been carefully cared for and maintained by its now elderly owner, motor compartment is clean and original with its PTB firewall stamp boldly in place and basically this car is almost like looking at a brand new camaro back in 69 and it does shows some very minor age in a few places but overall it is a excellent car. It has one small "door ding" above the door handle that owner says was done on the transport the day he picked it up back in 69 and it has small mud flaps he applied using the original wheel opening moldings also done at the dealership that day. He was so meticulous in the fact that it has never been driven in any kind of rain or snow and took his wife to work as to not let her drive the car. I have looked at a few local 67-69's that were just decent condition somewhat original camaros that have sold for 15-18k that do not even compare to this cars condition, options or survivor status and you might look at ebay item# 290593245454 that sold recently to maybe get a better idea as this car I am speaking of I think belongs in a collection or a Chevrolet showroom floor for display and the ebay car mentioned is not even close to the condition or as well optioned as this green car. Sorry to write a novel here but i will try and get some pictures although it might take a few days so I would still appreciate your opinions. Thanks!

Agreement in the 20's somewhere depending on motor, I did not see that info.
If it has original shocks and all that and papers documenting the mileage that is a keeper. Not sure why 7-9K was thrown out there. Survivors are the best thing going. Wow that ebay car for 16K looks like it has 135K not 35K miles. Not much of a survivor once your done fixing that one.

I can't wait to see it!
If the owner is willing to part with it, you are most of the way there. They will want to see it go to a good home. You need to show them you are it.

Charley is probably the most in touch with what it is worth.
My estimate is low, on purpose, because you can always go up. Much harder to go down in price. Get pics of the underside of the car too. What receipts are available for oil changes, etc. to help prove the mileage?

It is a plain jane with column shift. THAT is why the "low" numbers. The 40k mileage is just as suspect as all such claims with cars that have rollover odo's. One should not pay for that because you cannot prove the mileage either when you go to sell.

Thanks for the replies so far and mileage can be verified as owner is still alive and other paperwork and believe me if you could see where this car is kept in a two car garage and what little he would get it out he would drive it thru the grass and around the side of his house. I was able to drive it and it drives like 40k original miles. All weatherstrip is still soft and like brand new and it has the absolute nicest trunk inside that i have ever seen. I will try and get a couple of pictures of it later maybe even today. thanks again
