I just wanted to share that we, some fellow BC Team Camaro guys have started the BC Camaro Club. We launched the club on New Years day. I put together a quick little website. It was my first time designing a website. Please feel free to check it out and give any feedback you think would be helpful. I will also put a link on the website for Team Camaro and the CRG as well. Currently there are links to my build thread. Looking forward to any feedback that comes back.

PS, it is a work in progress and I am still learning how to get some things operational as well as working a few bugs out, but I think you will get the idea.

Thanks Tim. Looking forward to getting more Camaro guys together. We will be hosting a car show this summer as well as some trips and garage tours. Somehow I don't think a cruise down your way is possible just yet, but something to keep on the radar for sure

Actually the Camaro was not introduced into Canada until 1969

Great job on getting your club up and running Mike!

Some food for thought; you might want to open up your meetings to non-members, allowing guests will help grow the club by allowing others to drop in and check you out in person to see if they fit the mix. At the end of of each meeting our local club gives a few minutes to "new faces" where guests get to introduce themselves, share their Camaro and tell why they are into Camaros... Our Treasurer is always ready with membership applications but we don't hard sell, we only want folks who feel comfortable in the mix.

Also set an age limit of 18 to protect the club. If a 16 or 17 year old were to join against mom and dads wishes or mom and dad don't want jr to attend a club event the club could be faced with consent issues and you certainly don't want to hand out and track permission slips. Basically our club has family memberships where dad or mom is the primary member. When a 16 or 17 year old asks to join we tell them to buy dad a membership and they can participate as a family member since they are not 18.
