Bring your dash to the next level with custom gauges from NVU
NVU is the ONLY instrument manufacturer that can bring literally any style, size, shape and function to your dash with more features, details, style and function than you can find anywhere else. Need something a little different? The designers at NVU can create a custom setup that blend seamlessly with your vehicle style, build, and theme. With a warranty to back it up. Need a retro-factory style with modern internals to communicate with your LS? No problem. How about a one-off cluster to fit your one-off build? No problem Backlit custom one-off graphics, full LED backlighting in any style font, color, background? No problem. NVU has it covered: graphics, function, style, quality and features you can find nowhere else. Give a call email or stop on by, the folks at NVU will be more than happy to walk you through the process. For more ideas and information check out the custom gauge set page on the New Vintage USA website. Enough gab, here are some pics: This customer wanted a Camaro inspired gauge set, but in KPH. Custom redline on the tach to the customer’s specifications, our exclusive “deadfronted” turn signals and indicators (black, invisible when off) all designed to bolt right in the factory dash. ![]() ![]() This customer wanted to keep the feel of the 67 he was building so the designers at NVU came up with a package based on the 3-in-1 gauge sets with graphics emulating the original, but with a twist. Again custom redline, indicators, etc, all 6 functions in 2 gauges bolts right in. ![]() Here is a Gen 2 Camaro package based on the Redline gauges. Custom redline, and customer graphics on the dials to match the rest of the vehicle. Custom programming for KPH speedo. All based on the Gen 2 Camaro packages and bolts right in the stock dash. ![]() Now to take it to the next level, NVU can produce any graphic style, any color, how about this backlit carbon fiber dial ![]() Not a Camaro, but this is a good example of how far a custom gauge kit can go. Graphics to match the Auburn, with custom floating cover bezel on the quad gauge, custom pointers and fine detail graphics. ![]() This 67-69 GM truck is a good example of some things that make NVU different. Short sweep 3-3/8” fuel gauge, floating backlit dials on the larger gauges, cstom pointers. ![]() Now if you really want to get serious, here are the gauges NVU built for the award-winning Mustang Mach 40. Custom functions, indicators, backlit DISHED DIALS. No one else could pull this off. ![]() ![]() Here is an example of a retrofit. This customer had a 65 Corvette and wanted to use the stock housing. The engineers and designers at NVU came up with a modern blueline package that brought the dash into this century to match the updates on the car. Programmable speedo, backlit spun-metal dials and pointers. Custom programming and hand built cluster makes this dash a one-of a kind. ![]() When its time to do something special for your build, that will help insure your investment against damage, and will also make the driving experience more pleasurable, remember NVU can bring that dash to life and create a truly special product just for you.

very good looking gauges
The '67 Camaro "3 in 1 setup" with custom redline looks tempting. How are these wired? Electric? Speedo?

Hi
Most NVU instruments are fully electronic. The 3-in-1 gauge kits are electronic an feature military weatherpack connectors and color-coded wiring harnesses. Its not a plug-and play system as the kits have functions the the cars never had, but still pretty straight forward as far as an install goes. Molded connectors in case: ![]() New Vintage Programmable speedometers are easy to set-up and can use inputs from virtually any speed sender, OE or aftermarket the units will even accept input from many PCMs, all of this without any converters or cobversion boxes. Speedometers feature a remote mount programming button to keep the gauge face clean and real glass lenses. Programmable speedometers are easily calibrated by hitting the button, driving a mile and hitting the button again, it’s as straightforward as that. No confusing DIP switches. Calibration is easily accomplished any time tires or gears are changed. Our speedometers have accumulated over 5,000,000 miles of successful use reflecting their popularity and robustness. Plenty of other info on the NVU tech info page including instruction booklets and speedo calibration videos Last edited by newvintageusa; Jan 6th, 13 at 04:56 PM. |

I've already added NVU Performance series 3-1 in black face with white numerals to my wish list. Has the exact look that I wanted and love that the kit includes all the indicator lamps that should be there. By putting all the gauges in the dash I can save space for customizing my console.
