Could someone please post the correct numbers for both exhaust manifolds for a 1968 396/325 with AC and Smog?

Thanks for the numbers. Did Chevrolet use these same manifolds on other model years and if so what were they?

Those manifolds were used on 1967 - 1970 novas, chevelles, camaros. In 1970 it was used on the 454 chevelles & monte carlos, in addition to being used on the 396.

I have a 1969 396/325 with air & smog.
The left hand manifold number is 3909879. Haven't checked the right one yet. Chevy by the numbers shows this as the correct manifold from 1967-1969 for 396/325 camaros. It also shows a pic of one with the holes drilled in for A.I.R. and on w/o the holes. |

The book I'm looking at list the 881 and 862 as being very specific for only a 68 with smog. I don't know what makes the 68 different from a 67 or 69. I guess we need some motor guru's to solve this one? ------------------ Scott 68 SS BB project car |
