Hi, I was wondering if any one knows the CORRECT part number for a 1969 Z28 Starter Solenoid. I saw a starter on Ebay, and the seller claims the solenoid part number is 1114304. My GM parts book dated 72 says that the part number is 1114356. Were they dated also? Any TC member know for sure? Thanks in Advance.

Looks like you have stumped the crowd once again RSZMJT! I thought you would have gathered an answer on this by now.

The service part number for a 69 302 starter is 1114356. Service part numbers are almost always different than the original part number as the service group determined what parts they would carry made up their own numbers. Don't know what the original part number would be because it was part of an assembly. You would have to get the number that was stamped on the solenoid from an original starter to tell.
