Question

Hey Guys,

I just purchased my first Camaro.
It's a Z28 convertible from the year 1984.
I know that a dealer who converted it to a convertible. It also has a sign on the back of the car that says "Exclusive". It is a two seater (now)...
with a fiberglass trunk.

I don't know what kind of info you guys need...

I do not know much about these camaros. I do remember chevy making special convertibles in the early 80's. These cars consisted of a push button covertible top, a fiberglass back seat that took up the whole rear space for nothing else could go there.(pretty much a 2 seater car), and the trunk having hydraulics with a little square entry point in the middle of the fiberglass trunk. Like i said i do not know about these cars in detail. I am just trying to help in any way i can.
thanks

You have a Autoform camaro. My 84 is a 2 seater. There were 476 of these made between 84-86 with 1 made in 86 (iroc z). This was a dealer option ($5.000).Extra cross members were added for support. The company,Autoform was in Elkhart Ind. The trunk on mine opens backwards the top is manual it folds into the trunk. mine is a true 2 seater. Your car is very rare and worth big $$$$$. Chevrolet is trying to get all of the remaining "VERTS" regerstered. hope i helped a little bit. O by the way as of 3 weeks ago there were only 114 regerstered.
