the VIN is 124870N557039 i'm pretty sure this is a 1970 BB Camaro,396 L78. can we confirm this by the VIN? thanks for the help. ------------------ 69 Camaro RS/SS 350. No, can't tell anything from the VIN. You need some kind of documentation (paper work) to tell anything about options etc).

No, the VIN doesn't help verify an SS or big block. The cowl tag should have something like Z27 or L78 or L34 on it somewhere. Get all the information from the cowl tag and post it so we can help.
