Question

I have a aluminum intake for a GM sbc casting # 14044836 dated 11/11/69. It looks identical to my high rise 70 LT-1 manifold # 3973110. W snow flake and oil fill cap in the front. Can any one tell me what GM car or engine this manifold came from?

I'm not sure were yours came from but I have one with the snow flake on it with #1410174 that came off of a 305 HO engine. I'm not sure of the year.

I question that date. The part # is a much later style part #. In 69, it should be a 39***** (like your 70 manifold).
Could be a Bowtie (over the counter) part.

Doing a quick search shows 2 other posts with the same part #'s. Noone seems to have a good reference for it.
Most of the BowTie parts have a bowtie cast into the part.
May want to ask a dealer if they can reference the # (but they may have problems because normally there is a difference between part #'s and casting #'s).

Again thanks for the quick reply. Your right it does have a bow-Tie cast into the part. I will check the local G.M. parts dealer for further info.

Thanks

So it is a bowtie part.
Nice manifold, but I'm not sure what else the dealer can tell you. It's basically a newer copy of the 67-70 Z manifold.
